Born April 25, 1964 in uniontown , al Robert Brooks found a thriving interest in art starting at age 6 being inspired by his father's simple drawings of cowboys , the selftaught artist has scince done numerous renderings in oil ,pencil and charcoal favoring oil paint as his media of choice . Painting mostly portraits in the early years while sustaining a deep rooted interest in the study of modern and postmodern masterworks that resulted in the eventual development of his own style of painting , called ravelism.
